A couple of new businesses opened over the weekend in Manchester and Dyersville.
Riverbend Pub and Grill opened in the old Grumpy Bill’s location at 121 South Franklin Street in downtown Manchester. A group of investors bought the bar after Grumpy Bill passed away last year and have renovated the bar, with a new deck outside overlooking the Whitewater Park. Riverbend will be open again for drinks starting at 3 pm on Thursday. They hope to start serving food this fall.
And Dyersville’s new brewery, Textile Brewing Company, is open in the old sewing factory at 146 2nd Street Northeast downtown. The brewery will be open each day this week from 3 to 9 pm, with their grand opening on Friday from 11 am to midnight.
