If you need to get rid of old electronics, tires and paint, you’ll have your chance this weekend.
The Electronic, Household Hazardous Waste and Tire Recycling Clean-up Day will be held Saturday at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester.
Between 8 am and noon, residents in Delaware County and outlying areas, including Dyersville, Edgewood, Strawberry Point and Coggon, can bring items to the clean-up.
Residents may bring electronics such as computers, TVs, monitors, stereos and printers. They can also bring household hazardous waste, including old pesticides, oil-based paints, solvents and automotive products such as vehicle batteries. Car and pick-up tires will be accepted too.
Several items will NOT be accepted – including water-based latex paint, tractor or dealer tires or appliances.
Appointments are only needed if you are bringing hazardous material – you may make those appointments online at tiny.cc/DelawareCountyHHMevent.
And if you have any questions, give Deanna a call at 563-380-0183.
