Manchester will be a busy place on Saturday as it hosts Bacon ‘n Hops and the Motorcycle Trials.
Chamber Director Jessica Pape says their 5th annual Bacon ‘n Hops event will take place downtown with samples from 5 to 8 pm and live music from 6 to 10.
And while they call it just “samples”, Pape says you’re actually getting a full bacon meal.
Tickets for Bacon ‘n Hops are $25 at the gate. Or you can just come later for the live music and pay $5.
And during the day on Saturday, you can check out the Motorcycle Trials. Riders from across the country will be competing in a course at the Manchester Whitewater Park.
That’s Chris Halverson, who says everyone is welcome to bring a lawn chair and come watch.
He says the Motorcycle Trials will likely wrap up around 3 or 4 pm. It’s free to attend.
Both Pape and Halverson agree holding these two events on the same day has worked really well – not only does it give local residents something to do all day, but Halverson says the riders enjoy ending their day at Bacon ‘n Hops.
