Rotary Holds New Teacher Luncheon

The Manchester Rotary Club held their annual new teacher luncheon Wednesday at the Riverbend Pub in Manchester, giving new staff at West Delaware and Maquoketa Valley a chance to introduce themselves.  Stefanie Dingbaum of Earlville will be filling a new roll this year at West Delaware as social worker, a position that will be shared with Keystone AEA:

Abby Funke, who lives in Earlville, is a new High School English teacher at West Delaware.  Abby previously worked at the Anamosa School District:

Melissa Hauschild was a Special Education Associate at West Delaware for several years before taking a position at Independence.  She is back this year at West Delaware as a High School Special Education teacher and says she’s looking forward to being back:

Jessica Dusek, who is originally from Fruitland, in Southeast Iowa, will be teaching First Grade at Maquoketa Valley is looking forward to meeting her new students:

Margo Friedlein of Guttenberg will be teaching Junior Kindergarten at Earlville Elementary and Title One at Clayton Ridge:

Heidi Hoeger will be teaching 3rd grade at Maquoketa Valley.  Heidi says she’s looking forward to teaching at her alma mater:

Brianna Pfeiler from Holy Cross will be teaching 3rd through 6th grade Special Education at Maquoketa Valley:

Taryn Fellinger of Monticello will be teaching 2nd grade Johnston Elementary at Hopkinton:

West Delaware Superintendent Doctor Kristen Rickey is looking forward to another school year:

Maquoketa Valley Superintendent Doug Tuetken says he’s ready for a new school year:
