Beckman Catholic School Year Off to Good Start

The school year is off to a good start for Beckman Catholic High School in Dyersville.

Marcel Kielkucki of Manchester is in his second year serving as Beckman Catholic’s principal. He says some improvements were made to the school grounds during the summer.

Beckman Catholic has 377 students under one roof in grades 7 through 12. And Kielkucki is proud of what they’re accomplishing.

And Beckman Catholic will be honoring several alumni and friends next week by inducting them into the Beckman Catholic Hall of Fame. This year’s inductees include 2008 alumn Matt Tobin for Athlete, 2000 alumn Becky Williams for Fine Arts, 1983 alumn Mark Brady for Distinguished Alum and former principal Jack Klein, who will posthumously be honored as a Distinguished Friend of Beckman. Beckman’s 1992 Girls Golf state championship team will also be honored. The public is invited to the induction ceremony, which will be held next Friday, September 20th at 4 pm at the Beckman Catholic auditorium in conjunction with Homecoming Week.

Kielkucki says Beckman Catholic friends and alumni can stay up to date on events like this and other happenings at the school through several ways.

And Kielkucki will be joining us on a regular basis as our “Guest of the Day” on KMCH – tune in the fourth Thursday of each month at 8:10 am for updates from Beckman Catholic.
