Spitzack Honored with RMC’s DAISY Award

A nurse at Regional Medical Center has been honored with the DAISY Award.

The DAISY Award honors extraordinary nurses and RMC announced its partnership with the DAISY Foundation last fall. RMC’s latest recipient is Kaitlin Spitzack.

Spitzack began working at Regional Medical Center in July 2017 as a new graduate. Working in OB & Family Health and Medical/Surgical/Intensive Care, she was also involved in RMC’s first Summer Intern Program as a mentor.

Spitzack was nominated for the DAISY Award by Natalie Shea and Connie Koehler. Their father, Fredrick Korte, was a patient of Spitzack’s.

Spitzack was recently honored with the DAISY Award during a ceremony attended by Shea and Koehler, as well as many nursing colleagues and members of the RMC Governing Board.
