Re-dedication of Vietnam Tribute Wall

Several years ago Bill Scott, better known as “Grumpy Bill” had a dream of honoring veterans from Northeast Iowa who fought in Vietnam. So he turned the south wall of his bar “Grumpy Bill’s” into a tribute, complete with a list of names of Iowans who paid the ultimate sacrifice. A dedication was held in August of 2018 and then Bill unexpectedly passed away in October.  Several investors, including Grumpy’s son J.W. along with Mike Corcoran of Ryan purchased the bar, completely renovated it, and renamed it the Riverbend Pub. The group took careful consideration to preserve the tribute wall:
