A vehicle caught fire along Highway 20 in Delaware County on Tuesday morning.
It happened in the eastbound lanes near Manchester just east of Highway 13 around 7:15 am. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says Matthew Wilcox of Earlville was driving down the highway when he noticed the floor of the pickup was getting hot. He pulled over onto the shoulder of the highway and that’s when the truck caught fire.
The Manchester Fire Department responded to the scene to extinguish the fire.
The pickup, owned by Brian Miller of Earlville, was destroyed.
Authorities say no one was injured.
