Manchester will be hosting a Future Ready Iowa summit this Friday.
It’s one of nearly thirty collaborative, public-private partnership events taking place this fall to help Iowa build a skilled workforce for the future. Governor Kim Reynolds announced the summits this summer.
Friday’s event in Manchester will feature presentations about hiring and retraining practices, as well as collaborating with community partners and upskilling current employees.
Employers, local business members and educators are encouraged to attend. It is free to attend.
You can register online at FutureReadyIowa.gov or show up at the door Friday.
The event will run from 7:30 to 9:30 am at the Delaware County Community Center, with registration at 7 am.
