Firefighters responded to a dryer bin fire at a Manchester farm on Sunday.
The Manchester Fire Department was first called out around 11:15 am to Randy Wendling residence at 1608 220th Street, spending about three hours at the scene.
Fire Chief Mike Ryan says the dryer was operating with nine-thousand bushels of yellow corn. The cause of the fire was undetermined.
Firefighters were called out again later on Sunday around 4 pm, spending another six hours at the scene.
Ryan says they received mutual aid from Wendling Trucking, Three Rivers FS and neighbors and friends of the Wendlings.
