A popular downtown Manchester business will be changing hands at the end of the month.
For the past nineteen years, Kathy Wilgenbusch has been living her dream as the owner of The Quiltmaker’s Shoppe.
The Quiltmaker’s Shoppe, which sits on East Main Street, has offered everything a quilter needs – and has created a few quilters too.
The business not only draws in local customers, but out-of-town visitors too. Many of the bus groups that come to Manchester for the day spend some time in The Quiltmaker’s Shoppe.
She says it’s the customers that she enjoys the most about the business.
And it’s the customers that she’ll miss the most. Wilgenbusch announced last week that she has sold The Quiltmaker’s Shoppe – with one main factor leading to that decision.
She will be leaving the business in good hands with fellow quilter Leanne Fangmann.
Wilgenbusch’s last day at The Quiltmaker’s Shoppe will be next Thursday, October 31st. Fangmann will open for business as the new owner the following Monday, November 4th.
