Fate of Manchester Roadside Zoo in Judge’s Hands

The fate of a Manchester roadside zoo is now in the hands of a judge.

Cricket Hollow Animal Park, which sits west of town, has been at the center of a trial this past week. Owners Tom and Pam Sellner have been sued by four plaintiffs to have the animals removed and the zoo closed due to poor conditions.

The non-jury trial opened October 16, with testimony ending Tuesday. It’s now up to Judge Monica Wittig whether the zoo will close – she has 60 days to render a verdict.
