Regional Medical Center in Manchester is continuing to move forward by making improvements to the hospital.
CEO Charlie Button tells KMCH one of those areas of improvement is OB. This past year, eight hospitals in Iowa have closed their OB units – but he says RMC is headed in the opposite direction.
Button says RMC is also expanding Behavioral Health in a couple of ways.
And excitement is building for RMC’s new primary care clinic in Dyersville. RMC is leasing the new building along Highway 20 on the west end of town, with work currently being done on the interior. Button says they’re hoping to open the facility early next year.
Regional Medical Center is also working on implementing a new Electronic Health Record system and they’ve hired a new family practice physician – Dr. Molly Olson – who will be starting next summer.
