Two RMC Volunteers Honored with Bright Star Award

Two of Regional Medical Center’s longtime volunteers have been recognized for their dedication and service.

Sandi Roling and Virginia Allen received the Bright Star Award. The award is given annually to RMC Auxiliary volunteers who have shown exemplary generosity and kindness of spirit.

Roling became an Auxiliary member in 2010, volunteering at the HILLTOP Gift Shop, serving as the membership chairperson on the Auxiliary Executive Committee and participating in many RMC fundraising projects.

Allen is a charter member of the RMC Auxiliary, with her membership dating back to 1973. She has volunteered for many projects, including the Candy Cane Carnivals, numerous blood drives and fundraisers and working in the hospital gift shop. She currently volunteers at the Welcome Desk.

Roling was presented her Bright Star Award in April, with Allen receiving her award just this month.
