A man who tried stealing from the Manchester Walmart was found with meth.
Manchester Police say last Wednesday, November 13th, 47-year old Shad McAllen of Arlington was taken into custody for trying to switch UPC stickers on items at Walmart – putting less expensive stickers on more expensive items – and then running them through the self-checkout. Benjamin McAllen was also arrested.
But the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says when Shad McAllen was brought to the county jail, they discovered a small bag of methamphetamine in his coat pocket.
He has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Contraband in a Correctional Facility.
