The Manchester Window Walk and Static Christmas Parade is just two weeks away.
The annual event on Thursday night, December 5th will be the kickoff to the holiday season in Manchester, with lots of activities and shopping in the downtown area. The Static Christmas Parade has become a big part of the event and Chamber Director Jessica Pape says entries are welcome.
Pape says this year, the Static Christmas Parade will be expanded around the four main corner down South Franklin Street.
And the Static Christmas Parade helps raise money for Operation Santa Claus. Everyone who attends the Window Walk is welcome to vote for their favorite parade entry with dollar bills or spare change – the entry with the most donations wins and all the money raised goes to Operation Santa Claus, which helps provide Christmas gifts to kids in Delaware County.
If you’re interested in entering a stationary parade float, contact the Manchester Chamber office. The Manchester Window Walk and Static Christmas Parade will run Thursday night, December 5th from 6 to 7:30 pm in downtown Manchester.
