The body of a Monticello man who was reported missing Saturday has been found.
Monticello Police Chief Britt D. Smith said in a press release Sunday night that the body of 67-year old Jay Hanken was discovered in a stretch of Kitty Creek in a remote section of Monticello not far from his home on Sunday morning shortly before 11 am.
Family and friends reported last seeing Hanken on the evening of Tuesday, November 19th.
A cause of death has not been determined, but police say foul play is not suspected. An autopsy will be performed.
