Manchester Chamber Announces Static Christmas Parade Winner

The Manchester Chamber has announced the winner of the Static Christmas Parade.

The parade, which sits stationary on the streets downtown during the annual Window Walk, had around a dozen entries last Thursday night. Many of the parade entries were local businesses or groups who decorated vehicles and displays with Christmas lights and other décor – with some wearing costumes while handing out candy or cookies.

Those who attended the Window Walk were invited to vote for their favorite parade entry with their spare change. The entry with the most money won – and this year, it was once again the trucks from the City of Manchester/Delaware County/Henderson’s. They collected $120.15.

All of the money raised goes to Operation Santa Claus – this year’s parade brought in a total of nearly $280.
