One person is dead following a collision in Fayette County.
It happened Saturday evening east of Waucoma at the intersection of Scenic Road and Unicorn Road.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says a pickup truck heading eastbound on Scenic Road rear-ended a skid-steer loader.
The pickup truck was totaled. The driver, 76-year old Urban Kriener of Waucoma, died at the scene.
The driver of the skid loader, 28-year old Kathleen Hensley of Waucoma, was transported to the hospital to be checked for minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
