Cricket Hollow Zoo Faces Court Contempt Motion

Cricket Hollow Zoo in Manchester is facing a court contempt motion.

Our coverage partner, KCRG, says the Animal Legal Defense Fund filed the motion, wanting to know where more than one hundred missing animals are located.

In November, a judge ruled in favor of the group, ordering exotic animals be removed from the zoo due to poor living conditions. More than four hundred animals were removed shortly after the ruling.

However, the ALDF says some of the animals that were supposed to be removed were missing when they arrived at the zoo, including mountain lions, grizzly bears and a camel.
