West Delaware School Board Meeting Recap

The West Delaware School Board met Monday night.

The School Board approved some new technology for the district’s bus transportation system. Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey explains:

Rickey says West Delaware will have that new bus technology in place by next school year and possibly even yet this school year. The Board is also heard about some new ideas that may be implemented in the school’s food service program.

In other West Delaware news, the School Board approved several resignations, including Jordyn Zewen as preschool teacher associate, Shannon Lambson as high school special education teacher associate, Ashley Heims as assistant varsity softball coach and Mary Wegmann as head eighth grade girls basketball coach. And new hires approved at West Delaware include Elizabeth Weets as high school special education teacher associate and Emily Klostermann as assistant varsity softball coach pending her coaching authorization.
