Winthrop Native Joining Regional Family Health in October

A Winthrop native is returning back to the area to practice medicine.

Molly Olson, Regional Family Health’s new provider, will join the Regional Medical Center family in October of 2020.

Olson attended Iowa State University to attain her Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from Des Moines University in 2017.

Olson will be specializing in family medicine with an emphasis in obstetrics and osteopathic manual treatment.

Olson knew she wanted to join the RMC family “…by the talented and collegial group of providers and the breadth of services offered by RMC to the community,” she shared. “I looked at many job opportunities in rural areas, and RMC/RFH truly stood apart.” In her spare time, Olson enjoys running, cycling, reading, baking, spending time with family, and cheering on the Cyclones.
