A Garber man has been arrested for a burglary that happened nearly a year ago.
On February 9th, 2019, Clayton County deputies responded to a burglary at an acreage on Colesburg Road, where tools and other construction-type items were stolen.
At the time, deputies collected evidence at the scene and sent it to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation’s laboratory for DNA analysis.
The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office says the analysis gave them a suspect – 29-year old Zachary Franzen of Garber. Clayton County investigators filed charges on Franzen on January 15th. He was arrested and charged with Third Degree Burglary and Second Degree Theft.
