The Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 39th Annual Ag Luncheon on Thursday, March 19 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion. This year’s program will feature Chad Hart, Associate Professor of Economics, Crop Markets Specialist, and Extension Economist for Iowa State University.
The day will start out at 10 am with coffee and a seminar as Hart shares his insight on the overall agriculture market outlook. The morning session will end around 11:00 and lunch will start promptly at 11:30, with the keynote presentation starting at noon. Lunch is catered by the Edgewood Locker.
The keynote consists of the presentation of the Manchester Area Chamber of Commerce’s Friend of Ag Award, the presentation by the Delaware County Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioners Conservation Awards, and Chad Hart and Danielle Day with Iowa State University-Extension and Outreach on the topic of “Stress on the Farm: Strategies that Help.”
Tickets are $14 and are available from the Ag Luncheon sponsors or from the Chamber of Commerce at 563-927-4141.
