The Maquoketa Valley School Board met earlier this week, discussing some possible changes in their preschool program next school year. Superintendent Doug Tuetken:
Tuetken says the school board also discussed the 2020-21 calendar, trying to figure out the best days for professional development. The board also talked about the superintendent search, with hopes to wrap up the interview process by the end of March and name a new superintendent by early April. And they were excited to share the good news that Maquoketa Valley Middle School is one of five schools in Iowa nominated for National Blue Ribbon application process.
The Maquoketa Valley School Board’s next meeting will be held March 25th, with the April meeting pushed up to April 13th.
