The City of Delhi has lifted its drinking water advisory.
The advisory had been in effect since Monday, when the city experienced a water main break. Residents on the west side of town (west of 4th Street) were advised to use bottled water for drinking or cooking as a precaution until test results came back.
The City repaired the water main, replaced a valve, flushed the lines and collected bacteria samples for the tests.
Delhi city officials announced on Thursday morning that the drinking water advisory was no longer needed.
