CDC Recommends Social Distancing to Slow COVID-19 Spread

With the spread of COVID-19 across the country, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updated its mass gathering guidance on Sunday night.

The CDC says any events of 50 people or more should be postponed over the next eight weeks.

The goal is to reduce the introduction of the virus into new communities and to slow the spread of infection in communities already affected by the virus.

A number of local events and activities began cancelling late last week. You can find the latest list of cancellations, closings and announcements at kmch.com.
