Hospitals are asking patients with possible symptoms of COVID-19 to call ahead first.
Regional Medical Center in Manchester is among the hospitals asking patients to call first to prevent the spread of the virus. The goal is to avoid people sitting in waiting rooms unintentionally infecting others.
If you are experiencing a cough, fever, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, call RMC or your healthcare provider first. They will let you know if you should come into the hospital.
