Door-to-door appraisals in Delaware County are on hold due to COVID-19.
The County Board of Supervisors said Wednesday that they’ve received some calls from residents concerned about the in-person appraisals while social distancing is in effect.
Vanguard was hired by the County to conduct the countywide property appraisals. Over the course of a year to a year and a half, their inspectors are traveling the county door to door with appraisals inside and outside homes.
The County says they’ll put a 14-day hold on the appraisals and then re-assess the situation in two weeks.
