Wednesday’s Manchester blood drive was an overwhelming success.
Susan Hermann with the Delaware County Chapter of the American Red Cross say they received over 140 viable units, which means over 400 people will benefit from the blood that was donated.
She says donors were very patient and understanding – and says the volunteers were a blessing.
There were a few issues with scheduling appointments, but she says those problems will be discussed.
Another blood drive is being planned for the end of April.
