Emergency Management Says Delaware Co. Residents Obeying Social Distancing

Homeland Security thinks Iowa is doing a good job with social distancing during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Delaware County Emergency Management Coordinator Mike Ryan says he participated in a conference call with Homeland Security staff this week.

And there’s evidence from the DOT that we are isolating ourselves from the general public.

Delaware County does not yet have a confirmed case of COVID-19. Jones County doesn’t either, but all surrounding counties have at least one person who has tested positive, with multiple cases in Dubuque and Linn counties.
