Crews will begin road work on Highway 20 in Buchanan County on Monday.
The Iowa DOT says a hot-mix asphalt paving project will be starting on Highway 20 between Buchanan County Road V-65 near Jesup and 20th Avenue Southwest near Independence.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction of Highway 20 beginning Monday and running through the end of August.
Drivers are reminded to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones.
