City of Manchester Closing All Playgrounds Due to COVID-19 Concerns

With the weather starting to warm up and everyone getting a little stir crazy from being isolated at home, there have been a lot of people out walking and enjoying the outdoors.

But the playgrounds in Manchester will be off-limits until further notice. City Parks and Rec Director Doug Foley says due to concerns of COVID-19, they are closing all city playgrounds at this time.

Foley says the playgrounds are an environment where the Coronavirus can spread more easily.

Signs and caution tape are up at each playground area in Manchester.
