The Delaware County Board of Supervisors met Monday afternoon – and decided to make no changes to their current courthouse operations during COVID-19.
The Board approved the hiring of a new Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputy. Scott Egemo, a Manchester native, will be returning to the county for the position. He will begin the job April 13th.
The County also approved contracts for a couple of projects. The D-22 paving project received three bids, with Horsfield Construction the lowest bidder at just under three and a half million dollars. The project has a late start date of May 18th. And the Robinson Road paving project had four bidders, with Horsfield also the lowest bidder there at just over two-point-eight million dollars. That project will have a late start date of July 6th.
And on April 13th, the County will receive bids for their contract rock program for over 122-thousand tons of rock.
