A Manchester pharmacy has found a way to give back to our local law enforcement in hopes of protecting them during COVID-19.
Brehme Drug made hand sanitizer and donated it to the Manchester Police Department and Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
There has been a shortage of hand sanitizer since COVID-19 hit the country. So after the FDA last week relaxed regulations on the types of alcohol that can be used for hand sanitizer, pharmacy owner Ashley Brehme decided to try a homemade version to help out our local officers who may not have access to soap and water while working on the frontlines.
Brehme says her intern, Dani Boone, helped too. They delivered the homemade hand sanitizer to our local law enforcement this week.
