The busiest intersection in Delaware County will be closing next week as part of the City’s Highway 13 Street Improvement Project.
The main four corners at Franklin and Main Streets in Manchester will shut down on Tuesday, with the closure lasting for about two and a half weeks. The City says the closure should wrap up by May 1st.
The detour for the main four corners will run from West Union or West Howard to River Street.
At the same time, Pirc Tobin will have a second crew putting in water main starting at Bob Stephen Motors running east toward the main four corners. The City says there will be access to all businesses along West Main Street throughout this phase.
And the intersection of River Street and West Main opened Thursday afternoon.
City Manager Tim Vick will join us as our “Guest of the Day” on Tuesday morning to provide us with an update on the Highway 13 Street Improvement Project, as well as plans for the East Main Street Project.
