A Manchester flower shop is doing something special to honor our high school seniors.
Sarah Taylor, owner of Sarah’s Flowers & Gifts, says her heart goes out to the seniors after hearing the news on Friday that the school year is officially over due to COVID-19.
So, Taylor decided to make bows in West Delaware, Maquoketa Valley and Ed-Co’s school colors and hang them outside her shop for the community to take to show their support of this year’s graduating seniors.
Taylor says she set out around 80 bows on Saturday morning and by the afternoon, there was just one lonely bow left. She’s planning to make more on Monday.
And her idea has been seen by other florists on Facebook – some as far away as Kentucky – who plan on making bows to show support for their high school seniors too.
