West Delaware Grad Creates T-Shirt Fundraiser to Help Frontline Workers

A former West Delaware athlete has helped create t-shirts to raise money for our local frontline workers.

Manchester native Zach McCool manages a sports facility in Waukee called Sportsplex West. And he came up with an idea to help during the COVID-19 pandemic.

McCool created a couple of RMC Strong t-shirts, along with over a dozen WD Strong t-shirts – covering all sports, as well as theatre and music too.

The shirts cost twelve dollars each. They take about two weeks for production and will be delivered right to your home.

As of Wednesday morning, over 400 WD Strong t-shirts and 75 RMC Strong t-shirts had been sold – an incredible show of support so far.

McCool says he’s looking forward to donating the proceeds to Regional Medical Center.

The t-shirt sales run through Thursday, though the Fine Arts shirts will be available until next Tuesday. You can find the link to order below:
