Several local small businesses have been awarded grants from the State to help them through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Governor Kim Reynolds launched the Iowa Small Business Relief Program to provide financial assistance to small businesses that have been economically impacted during the closures. The program offered eligible small businesses grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000.
A handful of Delaware County businesses have received grants in the six rounds announced so far, including:
$25,000 for Lightning Lanes Family Center
$25,000 for Thompson Shoes
$25,000 for Georgen Auto
$25,000 for Delhi Landing
$25,000 for Accent Laser Service
$20,000 for Franklin Street Brewing Company
$17,000 for Fireside Pub & Steakhouse
$15,000 for April’s Downtown Diner
$10,000 for Lost Bar and Grill
Cleary LLC $15,000
Ciilly Enterprises $5,000
