RMC to Discuss Resuming Elective Surgeries and Re-opening Wellness Center

Regional Medical Center is discussing how to move forward following the governor’s recent announcements of re-opening the state.

On Friday, Governor Reynolds declared healthcare facilities could start performing elective surgeries, while adhering to some specific guidelines. RMC has a committee in place to plan for non-emergent services to resume and they’ll be meeting on a routine basis.

The hospital says operations for this week (through Sunday) will continue as they have been the last few weeks.

And on Monday, the governor signed a new proclamation allowing fitness centers to open on Friday, following certain requirements. The RMC committee will also discuss re-opening the Bob Holtz Wellness Center.

RMC will be updating the community as new information becomes available.
