Delaware County Confirms Two New COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Total to 7

Delaware County has two new COVID-19 cases.

Delaware County Public Health announced the additional cases on Monday. It brings Delaware County’s total number of cases during this pandemic to seven. Four of those cases have recovered and three are isolating at home.

Nearly 250 Delaware County residents have been tested for the virus.

The Iowa Department of Public Health announced Monday that Iowa has 534 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the state’s total number of confirmed cases to 9,703. Governor Kim Reynolds says 85% of those new cases come from the 22 counties where restrictions remain in place. Nearly 3,500 Iowans have recovered from the virus.

Four new deaths were also reported in Iowa on Monday, bringing the state’s total number of deaths to 188.

Over 57,000 Iowans have been tested for COVID-19 – that’s one in every 55 Iowans.
