Delaware County has two new COVID-19 cases.
Delaware County Public Health confirmed the two additional cases on Wednesday, bringing the county’s total number of cases during this pandemic to ten. They also announced Wednesday that an eighth Delaware County resident has recovered from the virus, with the remaining two active cases isolating at home.
The county has not reported any deaths or hospitalizations.
354 Delaware County residents have been tested for the virus, including 30 tested on Tuesday.
Statewide, nearly 86,000 Iowans have been tested. The Iowa Department of Public Health reported 377 new cases and 17 additional deaths on Wednesday, bringing the state’s total during this pandemic to 13,289 positive cases and 306 deaths due to the virus.
388 Iowans are currently hospitalized.
Nearly 6,000 Iowans have recovered from COVID-19.
