Delaware County Conservation says their campgrounds are open – but there are a number of restrictions in place.
For now, there are no water or electric hook-ups and no utility services. The shower house remains closed at Bailey’s Ford and they are recommending campers have a self-contained restroom. The dump station is closed, as well as the playgrounds. And there is currently no firewood sales.
A fourteen day stay limit is also being enforced.
Due to these restrictions, there will be no camping fees.
Delaware County Conservation says these restrictions will be in place until at least May 20th.
Twin Bridges and Coffins Grove camping areas are currently closed due to flood clean-up issues.
