The Manchester Farmers Market opens for the season this weekend.
The Farmers Market will kick off Saturday morning from 7:30 to 11 in its usual area along the Maquoketa River behind Bushel & A Peck.
Manchester Chamber Director Jessica Pape says they’ll be following CDC guidelines and encourage visitors to do the same.
Governor Reynolds announced a couple weeks ago that Farmers Markets could open this spring under certain restrictions – and that means only allowing food vendors at this time.
Pape says anyone interested in being a vendor at the Manchester Farmers Market can contact them anytime throughout the year at the Chamber at 927-4141.
The Dyersville Farmers Market is also opening for the season today with new social distancing measures in place. Their market runs every Thursday from 2 to 5:30 pm in the picnic shelter of Dyersville Commercial Club Park.
