Edgewood Pro-Rodeo Days is being postponed.
The Edgewood Chamber Board announced Monday that due to COVID-19, it would not be possible to safely hold Rodeo Days June 25th through the 28th. The event brings thousands of visitors to the small town of Edgewood each year, with the four day celebration including three nights of rodeo action, as well as a community parade and many other activities.
However, the Chamber Board is looking into the possibility of hosting the event a different weekend this year. They say they will continue to work with public health officials, medical experts, county officials and the PRCA to implement a comprehensive plan that ensures the health and safety of their competitors, attendees, volunteers and citizens. The Chamber will be making further announcements if an alternative weekend celebration comes to fruition.
