Manchester Man Charged in Keokuk Death Pleads Not Guilty

A Manchester man charged with the death of a Keokuk woman has pleaded not guilty.

33-year old Nathanial Ridnour entered the written plea in Lee County District Court on Friday.

Ridnour was arrested in early May following an investigation into a cold case from 16 years ago. He is charged with First Degree Murder in the death of 73-year old Bonnie Callahan in June 2004. She was found dead along the bank of the Mississippi River in Keokuk. Investigators said she had been dumped in the river, with her body showing signs of blunt force trauma.

Ridnour’s next court hearing is set for November 16th, with jury trial scheduled for December 8th.
