Earlville Limiting 4th of July Celebration Activities

Earlville’s 4th of July Celebration activities will be limited this year due to COVID-19.

The Earlville Community Club announced Thursday that they will proceed with the fireworks and parade. The fireworks will be held at dusk and the parade time and route is yet to be determined.

The Earlville Fireworks 5k Fun Run/Walk will be rescheduled to a later date if possible. And all other activities have been cancelled.

The Earlville Community Club says they are proud of their longtime tradition of celebrating the 4th of July and did not take this decision lightly. But in consideration of the public’s safety and the safety of their 150+ volunteers, the decision was made to limit this year’s activities.

They ask that you please keep in mind the social distancing guidelines and consideration of others as you celebrate the Fourth.
