Delaware County Fair Kicks Off Today with Modifications Due to COVID-19

The Delaware County Fair kicks off today – though it’s not your usual fair this year.

Because of COVID-19, most of the fair’s events have been cancelled for 2020 – including the grandstand entertainment, concerts, carnival and parade. The main focus will be on the 4-H and FFA shows – with judging beginning today, livestock shows being held throughout the week and wrapping up with the livestock sale on Saturday.

The Steer-n-Stein will be open this week for food on the fairgrounds and there will be live music by local musicians on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

We’ll hear more about the modifications to this year’s Delaware County Fair when we visit with Fair Manager Jeannie Domeyer during this morning’s Guest of the Day at 8:10 am here on KMCH.
