Delhi Awarded State Grant to Renovate Two Properties

The City of Delhi has been awarded a state grant to help renovate a couple of properties in town.

The $100,000 Community Catalyst Grant from Iowa Economic Development will help pay a developer to demolish two buildings on Franklin Street – the former Shane’s Place and Delhi Locker. The grant will also help pay for the construction of a new building that will house two new businesses – a meat market/deli called “Off the Hoof” and a coffee and wine bar called “Roast and Toast”.

The new businesses are expected to open in Delhi early next year.
