The Manchester City Council met in person for a regular meeting at the fire station Monday night – their first time meeting in person since the start of COVID-19 a few months ago.
The Council approved a rezoning request for 617 East Prospect Street in Manchester. City Manager Tim Vick:
The Manchester City Council has also agreed to help out the Delaware County Fair by waiving their water and sewer costs up to $2,000 during this week’s fair. Fair Manager Jeannie Domeyer requested to have the water and sewer portion of their water bill paid to help them out financially during this challenging year.
And the Highway 13 Street Improvement Project is moving right along. Vick says the plan is to start pouring curb and gutter today on the North Franklin and Acers Street intersection.
Vick says the new traffic signals will also work a little different than before once this project is finished.
The Highway 13 project in Manchester is expected to last through the construction season.
